Flounder Jig

Based on the extremely successful Lugworm Jig , this hair jig imitates a small flounder attempting to eat a lugworm. The jig should therefore be dragged quickly and evenly across the bottom: It doesn't imitate a worm, but rather a flounder taking off with a worm.

The jig can be used as a pure artificial bait straight from the package. However, the bite rate is increased if a small amount of bait is placed on the hook point as a scent carrier. This encourages fish to bite more often. Non-greasy attractants such as alcohol-based Carp Flavors or Berkley Gulp Alive "Sauce" are also helpful.
